Finish Open Source Compiler Port

REVISED:
- I need to finish a GNU gcc C cross-compiler port from Cygwin (host and build machines) to a simplified MIPS1 architecture (target machine). A preliminary port exists: the new compiler can be built and pass simple testing. The process necessary to create the current port is well-documented.
- The port now needs to be completed, which involves getting the port to compile 11 of the SPECcpu2000int benchmarks without error; that is, only those benchmarks that are written in C must be considered. The source code for the benchmarks is available. The execution environment will be a suitable MIPS simulator running on Windows XPSP3-32.
- The target completion date is negotiable. Around 2 weeks is desirable.
- The project’s products will be made open-source. The fee is negotiable, and STARTS at $1,000. going up to a maximum of $5,000. A suitable bonus for on-time completion is negotiable. The programmer must have experience with the GNU gcc and Cygwin systems; there is no time for extensive training. Elementary knowledge of simple machine instructions is necessary. Further details are available upon request. Questions are welcome. Follow-on projects may be available.
- I am a faculty member, not a student.
- My specialty is hardware, not software, which is why I need the help.
